San Antonio, TX.- From April 25th to Apr 27th, the Viva Fresh Expo was held in San Antonio Texas. Organized by the Texas International Produce Association (TIPA), Triple H participated for the third year in a row as importers of fresh produce in the Rio Grande Valley Region.
In it, we had the opportunity to connect with important buyers of supermarket chains promoting new products such as Ataulfo mango, Persian lime and Hass avocado, as well as promoting our retail presentations of Roma tomato.
Besides participating in the Golf Tournament and the educational and networking sessions that took place at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa, we also had the opportunity to reconnect with those who are already part of the Triple H Family.
The tradeshow gathered 2,300 industry members, including 374 buyers and 169 exhibitors who took advantage to showcase the best of their offer in products and services.
Likewise, the 2nd edition of the Innovation Showcase contest was held, with 22 finalists who were recognized for their excellence in package design, new product development, food safety, machinery, software and technology.
This time, Triple H participated with the “Triple H Grower’s App”, a technological development that was proudly awarded 1st place and recognition as "The Best of the Show". Congratulations to the teams that participated in its design and development!
2nd place went to Frontera Produce for its Golden Crush variety melon and 3rd place went to The National Mango Board for its Promotional Design for stores.
The next edition of Viva Fresh Expo will take place from April 30th to May 2nd, 2020 at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa.
